Pleasant + Sad Stories~

HAPPY  STORY

One of my happy moments in my life was when I met my favourite local actress which is Lisa Surihani. It was a best feeling ever. I never expected that I could meet her. It all started when I was surfing the internet, suddenly bumped into the International School of Kuala Lumpur ‘s web which going to organize the walkathon event. At the first, I wasn’t interested to read further. However, when I knew the ambassador of this event was Lisa Surihani, without any delayed I registered my name.

This event was held on 13th march 2011, Sunday and the purpose of this event was to raise fund for the Home for Children and Rumah Kasih Sayang. Organized by ISKL and endorsed by Ministry Of Education Malaysia.
Then,  only me and my father went to this event  because  my father really loves to join this kind of event.
Before the walkathon started, we were having warm-up session by Celebrity Fitness. It was fun and I really enjoyed it. Later a few minutes before start the walk, I finally saw Lisa Surihani because there’s a crowd and people were busy taking picture with her.

Then, I quickly ran into her and greeted her. I managed to take a photo with her. She’s got a natural beauty because without make-up she still pretty and fresh! And she was very friendly and likeable. She has a same height like me.

SAD STORY

For the sad story,  I experienced this unforgettable moment when I was in secondary school. During that time, our country was in havoc time due to pandemic disease which was H1N1. This disease has become a huge threat to people all over the world. Most of the school were closed on that time. I don’t quite remember  where I get this disease. As far as I knew,  a few weeks before I got infected, I went to mall in Shah Alam.

There were many people because people were busy preparing for Hari Raya. Before I went out, I wore a mask because at that time people were encouraged to wear a face mask to shield from virus H1N1. So, at that time I felt a bit secured and protected. There were not many people wearing the face mask. About four to five people only. Then, I came back to school and at the first, nothing was happens.

After one week, I had a sore throat. It was very painful one. Differ from usual. Then, I felt my body was weak and a few of my joints were in pain.

Knowing this situation, I immediately called my father to pick me up from school and went home.
When I was at home, I had an extremely painful head ache and my body was very weak and feverish.

Later , around 11 pm my father sent me to the hospital because my body  temperature seems to be very high. I felt my inner part of body was warm, the outside was very cold. If I’m not mistaken, my body was shivering.

Then, when I arrived at the hospital , my father went out from the car to the counter and ask for something. Then, he came back to the car and drove us to H1N1 centre. I said to myself “Why am I here?”. At the H1N1 centre, there were a few big canopies which located outside the hospital where people registered their names. Then, my father registered me and  I went through a several  basic check such as blood pressure, weight and others. Then, I went to the next station because he asked me to go inside which near to the canopy. During that time, I felt worried about myself and scared!

It’s felt like all those thing that I’ve been heard and saw on the TV, newspaper  about H1N1 disease has finally infected to me. I just couldn’t believe it!

At the next station, a young Chinese doctor (I think he was in his housemanship )  asked me a bucket of questions that I hardly to answer it because of my weak condition. Then, after ‘checking and asking hell’ session , he asked me to go inside to take blood sample for analysing. This moment I hardly forget because during this time, the doctor asked me to wait for a while after the checking process. From what I saw, all the patients that have been checked they may leave the room if they weren’t suspected H1N1. Unfortunately, I had to wait here.I felt my world has ended and it’s just like everything was in dark.

Suddenly, my tears dropped out and I was crying non-stop. Then, I was informed by the nurse to get in an ambulance to go to the centre of hospital which wasn’t far from H1N1 centre. “Why am I supposed to be in ‘here’?” . I wasn’t injured badly or I’m going to die anyway. Until now I didn’t get it why I am supposed to ride that ambulance.  Then, I was being checked again and the doctor asked me to do an X-ray. A few minutes later, the result came out and the doctor told me to stay in hospital for 2/3 days.  Then, my father has transferred me to non-government hospital.

During the hospitalization, the doctor has given me a letter which stated my name and the level of disease. At the first I was startled and couldn’t imagine how am I supposed to continue my life after saw this result? I felt like want to scream. The result stated that there’s H1N1 virus detected in my body and Alhamdulillah that it was just in early stage. The doctor said I might be fully recovered if I managed to follow their orders and take a good care of my health. Lastly, do not exposed to the outsiders .

After 3 days in hospital , I came back to home and being quarantined for a week. Which mean, I wasn’t allowed to go anywhere beside my house even the kitchen and other rooms. Moreover, the doctor has told me to wear a face mask if I wanted to say something to other people included my own family. I felt very sad, lonely and sometimes boring because I can’t go anywhere and got stuck in house for a week without mingled with my own family. As if I’m being grounded in my house.

A few days later, my body was getting well and my father took me to the hospital to re-checked my condition before I coming back to school. Alhamdulillah, I was fully recovered.  Thanks Ya Allah!

Salam ukhwah..adios!
